Wright Property
This Greenway Property is located in a residential area in southwest Atlanta, west of the Beecher Hills Elementary School. This Greenway Property's topography is moderately sloped, which is not conducive to development, but ideal for preservation. Preservation of this Greenway Property will facilitate the capture and infiltration of stormwater runoff. This property is immediately adjacent to two other recently acquired Greenway Properties: one Greenway Property is located on Flamingo Road and the other is located in the Beecher Hills community. Together, the three properties protect approximately 9,357 linear feet of North Utoy Creek. Acquisition of adjacent properties helps to build true greenway corridors that not only add to the number of linear streamside feet protected, but to the overall stability of the protected area.
