Ridgemore Rd. Property
The purchase of this Priority-1 status property was strongly supported by the community and is illustrative of a collaborative effort between the community, a non-profit land protection agency (The Trust for Public Land), and the City of Atlanta. This mature, hardwood forested property is unique for ecological reasons in that it is located at the confluence of Nancy Creek and Peachtree Creek, and surrounded on three sides with water. Preservation of this property thus allows for protection of a greater amount of stream frontage.
