Nagannga Property
The Nagannga property is located north of a series of recently acquired parcels that connect to form a continuous greenway corridor along Sweetwater Creek. Although this acquisition is comprised of less than one acre of property, the Nagannga parcel is adjacent to Veterans Memorial Parkway, a major thoroughfare in Austell. The Project Team anticipates that this greenway property can provide a means to filter the stormwater flow from Veterans Memorial Parkway before it enters Sweetwater Creek. Whether it provides connectivity, improved wildlife habitat or improved water quality, every greenway property is of critical importance to the overall mission of the City of Atlanta Greenway Acquisition Project.
