Harvey Property
Located entirely within the floodplain, the Harvey property consists of dense vegetation, including mature hardwoods, bamboo, ferns, and an ivy-laden groundcover. This Priority 1 status property is located in a residential area on Ivydale Drive, near Campbellton Road and adjacent to Georgia Highway 166 in Southwest Atlanta. Also acquired by the City of Atlanta, the Brannon property , located adjacent to the Harvey property, demonstrates how participation by residents along South Utoy Creek can create substantial connectivity, and can enhance the quality of stream segments located within the protected greenway properties.
