Goorahoo Property
Located partially within the 100-year floodplain, the Goorahoo property consists of one entire undeveloped vacant parcel. This acquisition continues to build connectivity on South Utoy Creek. A large amount of stream frontage is being protected in this area of southwest Atlanta. This is due to a high percentage of property owners in this area participating in the Atlanta Greenway Acquisition Project. The Goorahoo property is also located near the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, providing additional habitat protection and connectivity of protected green areas.
