Clark Property
This greenway property is located in northwest Atlanta, on Peachtree Creek. Several other property owners located near this property are interested in participating in the Atlanta Greenway Acquisition project. Peachtree Creek showed numerous signs of erosion, including sandbars and recently fallen trees due to stream bank washouts. Protection of a 100 foot conservation easement buffer of adjacent properties will help protect and improve the water quality of Peachtree Creek. Vegetation along stream banks helps to prevent erosion and other non-point pollution which enters the creek from storm water run-off.
