Although less than an acre in size, this greenway property was a key acquisition to the City of Atlanta. Regardless of size, a connected series of greenway properties ensures the biological integrity of plant and animal species within the greenway corridor along South Utoy Creek. This Priority 1 status property is located in a residential area on Ivydale Drive, near Campbellton Road and Georgia Highway 166 in Southwest Atlanta. This acquisition is another example of how small property owners can make significant contributions to stream protection in their communities.
