Federal Support Initiatives
 The City
approached the Senate HUD/VA subcommittee for a $150 million
appropriation in 2003 to help fund the Nancy Creek Tunnel. The
City succeeded at getting a line item New Start Funding commitment
of $2 million from the Senate subcommittee and continues to
lobby for additional federal support.
